This week’s rankings reveal that only Class 2A did not see any changes. Meanwhile, the state’s largest and smallest class each had significant movement after week 9.

In 5A, Grayson fell out of the rankings after losing to South Gwinnett. The Comets, in turn, moved into the top 10 at No. 9. Read more >

Washington 35, Riverwood 21: Justin Taylor ran for 206 yards and a touchdown for visiting Washington (3-1) in its win over Riverwood (1-4). Quarterback Renard Battle ran and passed for a touchdown for the Bulldogs, and wide receiver Zack Witchett had two touchdowns as well. Washington’s DeAngelo Ivery scooped a fumble for a touchdown.
