On June 15th, the class of 2027 officially became juniors. This allowed coaches to be able to contact players directly without getting in trouble with the NCAA. Georgia has arguably the best talent in the state in 2027 of any state in the country, and schools took notice of this and reached out as soon as they could to multiple players.
North Cobb’s Teddy Jarrard is listed as a 4-star and ranked as the 21st quarterback in 2027 according to Rivals.
Last season, he threw for over 2,600 yards and added 34 touchdowns at North Cobb Christian before transferring to North Cobb in the spring.
Jarrard holds 32 offers from multiple power four schools including Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio State amongst many others.
Since June 15th, Jarrard has been in contact with the likes of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Notre Dame, Clemson, and a lot more.
Jarrard mentioned Alabama was the first school to contact him.
Jarrard seems to have a thing for Indiana, including two schools from the state.
“Coach Geno is great, I love what they are doing up there. They are a historic program and I would love to play there,” Jerrard said about Notre Dame. As for Indiana,“coach Whitmer is great, it would be in a great spot, ” Jarrard continued.

He is looking to deem-down his list after this summer, where has already visited Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame, Penn State, Arkansas, Ohio State, and LSU.
Kamarui Dorsey is an early candidate to be a 5-star recruit by the end of his high school career. Dorsey plays at Hampton high school plays both sides of the ball and could be the next Travis Hunter. A title that does not come lightly.
He holds a total of 25 division one offers from many different schools.
He was talking to Georgia Tech coaches all day when competing at the Brent Key/Corky Kell 7-on-7. Georgia Tech was his first offer a year ago and that made an impression on him.
“The chemistry and everything, they feel like family.”
He also likes another in-state program in the Georgia Bulldogs. He has visited Athens and he took away a few things from that.
“You can feel the intensity when you are at a Georgia practice, they go hard every play.”
He also spoke about potentially going down south to the University of Florida.
“I feel close to home and it is close enough for my mom to come down. I like how they get after it.”
Dorsey blew up this summer while playing with Cam Newton’s C1N 7-on-7 squad. Cam Newton took his team to his alma mater a few weeks ago and Dorsey enjoyed the experience.
“It was a nice visit, they offered me at receiver, so it is a great opportunity.”
Dorsey will be heading to Florida (not the university) to compete in the OT7 Playoffs with C1N in a few weeks.

Adams had a private workout with a Georgia Tech coach the other day.
“It was good, he was teaching us how to get better.”
Like Dorsey, Adams also lists Georgia Tech and Georgia amongst the top of his recruitment.
“I like coach Searels and I know a few players up there , so I have a good connection up there too.”
Another schools Adams spoke on was the possibility of going to Tennessee
“I love Tennessee, they show me love, and they were one of the first schools to offer me.”
Finally, KJ Caldwell has become a name to know in the Peach State.
The 2027 defensive back recently won DB MVP at a Rivals camp and since his recruitment has blown up.

Caldwell has 29 offers and is ranked as a 4-star recruit according to 247 Sports.
Caldwell has been in contact with Georgia, LSU, Tennessee Georgia Tech, Miami, and more.
The first school to make contact with him on June 15th was Georgia Tech via safeties coach Peoples. Caldwell mentioned that they had a nice facetime call.
He specifically cited that Miami was contacting him “heavily.”
“They are really trying to get me down there, down to campus.”
Georgia has already got commitments from three safeties in its 2026 class, and are looking for a jump start in its 2027 class with Caldwell. He did not have to use many words to tell what he thought about UGA.
“It’s UGA, what is not to like.”
Like Dorsey, he noticed the intensity of UGA’s practices when he went down for a visit.
