Benedictine wideout Bubba Frazier ended his recruitment as one of the best wideouts in the Class of 2026 and announced he will continue his football career at Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish land one of the best playmakers from the state of Georgia in the Class of 2026 as Frazier held offers from many prestigious college football programs such as Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
He is coming off of a stellar junior season a year ago where he totaled 1,357 yards and 13 touchdowns. Through the air, Frazier recorded 753 yards and five touchdowns on 46 receptions while adding 604 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for over seven yards per carry on the ground.
In 2023 during his sophomore season, Frazier was able to contribute to the Benedictine offense as he caught 53 passes totaling 753 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 316 yards and three touchdowns while accumulating over 10 yards per rush on the ground.
While being a force on the football field, Frazier is a blur on the track, running a 10.80 in the 100-meter, a 22.14 in the 200-meter and 51.85 seconds in the 400-meter.
Frazier is the second Cadet to make a college announcement in the last two weeks as Frazier’s quarterback, Stephen Cannon, announced his commitment to Texas Tech.
Benedictine started last season with a 3-2 record before Cannon’s shoulder injury against Ware County sidelined him for the rest of the season. The Cadets went on to finish the season 7-5 and made it all the way to the quarterfinals, losing to Blessed Trinity 24-10.
Frazier will be a fantastic addition to the Notre Dame offense that spreads the ball around to all of its receivers. While they didn’t have a receiver break 600 yards last season, the Fighting Irish led a balanced offensive attack as Jeremiah Love returns to the team as one of the best running backs in the country.
Notre Dame made its first national championship since 2012 a year ago, falling short to Ohio State.
Frazier and the Fighting Irish will look to complete the job in 2025 and bring Notre Dame its first national title since 1988.
