Carrollton’s Ryan Mosley to take his talents to UGA

Carrollton has become a talent factory in Georgia over the past few years and with two state championship appearances in the past last three season, the Trojans are always a team to watch.

One name that has emerged over the past few seasons is 2026 athlete Ryan Mosley.

Mosley impressed last season as a junior, finishing with 848 yards and 15 touchdowns while helping Carrollton to a 14-1 record on the season. This includes a 65-yard touchdown reception in the state championship against Grayson. He recorded 471 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during his sophomore year.

Mosley has almost 30 offers from a multitude of Power Four schools. However, he set a top five back in March of Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Nebraska.

Out of the five, Mosley decided to commit to Georgia, following his visit to the Bulldogs on May 16th.

According to DawgNation, Mosley might even be playing a bit of safety for the Dawgs as well.

“They want me because of the size I have, the speed. The physicality I’ve got, and I’m a good kid off the field. Really, everything about me.” Mosley said in an interview with DawgNation.

Mosley has been participating with Cam Newton’s C1N 7-on-7 Summer tournaments before his senior season at Carrollton.

As for his senior season, he will have a unique challenge as this will be the first year of his high school career without 5-star quarterback Julian Lewis. Carrollton will have a few challengers to be the starter, however, the leader seems to be rising senior Mason Holtzclaw.

Along with the help of Mosley, Coach Joey King will look to take the Trojans back to the state championship in 2025.
