How the game was won: Marietta led 42-0 at halftime on the strength of five first-half touchdown passes from freshman quarterback Harrison Bailey. Marietta pulled its starters at halftime.

Top performers: Bailey was 14-of-28 for 294 yards, five TDs and no interceptions, throwing three scoring passes to De’Wayn Smith (8, 17, 12 yds) and two to Ramel Keyton (22, 10 yds). Smith finished with 109 yards on five catches, and Keyton had six receptions for 97 yards. Marietta running back Daniel Charles had a four-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, finishing with seven carries and 58 yards. The visiting Blue Devils got their final score in the fourth quarter with a 44-yard pass from backup QB Christian Harvey to Jalar Allen.

Kell 39, Cass 7

How the game was won: Kell led 29-7 at halftime after getting a defensive touchdown, a special-teams touchdown, two passing scores and a safety.

Top performers: Quarterback John Lampley threw for touchdowns of 64 yards to Josh Blancato and 16 yards to Cameron Marshall, both in the second quarter, and had a 15-yard TD run in the fourth. Solon Page started the scoring for the visiting Longhorns with a 20-yard interception return in the first quarter, and DJ Owens had a 51-yard punt-return TD in the second. Connor Mendelson capped scoring for Kell with a 32-yard field goal.
