The Metro PCS Corky Kell Classic features five matchups between 10 of the state’s most successful football programs. GPB Sports and 92.9 The Game will provide their knowledgeable teams of talent to ensure the excitement of each game is captured in the broadcasts. For the first time, the action will be broadcasted live via television, the internet and FM radio. Hosting the Classic throughout GPB’s broadcast will be Mark Harmon, Clair Simms and Kat Carney. The trio will be recapping the action along the way and setting the stage for each matchup.

In the Chattahoochee vs. Kell 9:00 a.m. opener, GPB will have Tommy Palmer and Sam Barrs calling the action and Rayven Tirado on the sidelines. Palmer and Barrs have called multiple state championship games for football and basketball. Fletcher Proctor and Kordell Stewart will be broadcasting the game live on 92.9 The Game. Proctor has served as an on-air personality and writer for hundreds of high school events and hosted 92.9 The Game’s High School scoreboard show last Fall. Stewart has become one of the most respected voices in Atlanta radio since joining The Game last year and brings the experience of an 11-year NFL career as a Pro Bowl quarterback.

Former Falcon Chuck Smith and sideline specialist Niki Noto will join GPB’s Jon Nelson for the second matchup between Peachtree Ridge and Walton. Jamie Dukes and Bob Houghton will handle the radio coverage on The Game.

GPB will feature Tirado on the sidelines again and Trey McDaniel and Kelin Johnson will commentate for Game 3 between Gwinnett County’s Grayson and Moultrie’s Colquitt County. McDaniel is the color commentator for GPB’s Football Friday’s in Georgia and Johnson is a former UGA starting safety who hosts the Dawg Report on CSS. Smith and Proctor handle the radio broadcast.

Nelson, Smith and Noto will lineup GPB’s expert team for the second North vs. South clash of the day between North Gwinnett and Camden County. Houghton and Randy Cross will handle the radiowaves.

In the final game of the Metro PCS Corky Kell Classic, McDaniel and Johnson will call the game for GPB and Nelson will cover the sidelines as Brookwood takes on McEachern. Proctor will broadcast his third game of the day on 929 The Game and will be joined by Dan Matthews.
