Tucker 48, Lakeside-DeKalb 10

How the game was won: Tucker rushed out to a 28-0 first-quarter lead and held a 35-3 lead at halftime at Adams Stadium.

Top performers: Chris Broadwater rushed seven times for 82 yards and touchdowns of 20 and 30 yards, and Taurean Taylor rushed twice for 86 yards and a 23-yard touchdown. Quarterback Xavier Shephard was 3-of-7 passing for 102 yards and two touchdowns, hitting Dion Watkins for a 75-yard score and Joshua Vann for a nine-yard score. Shepard also rushed three times for 52 yards and a 40-yard touchdown. Darick Stephenson had a two-yard TD rush. The Tigers defense recovered three Lakeside fumbles.

Lovett 29, Marist 28 (2OT)

How the game was won: After entering overtime tied 14-14, both teams put seven points on the board in the first overtime. Marist led off the second OT with a touchdown and extra point, and Lovett answered with a touchdown and a two-point conversion for the road win.

Top performers: Brady Tindall accounted for all four touchdowns for the Lions, scoring twice in regulation on QB keepers and throwing for two touchdowns in overtime, both on Lovett’s first plays. Tindall hit Nick Jackson and KJ Wallace in overtime, both for 15-yard scores, and snuck in for the game-winning two-point conversion.

Redan 24, Lithonia 20

How the game was won: Redan came back from a 14-6 halftime deficit to take a 24-14 lead late in the fourth quarter. Lithonia scored with under four minutes to play, but Redan recovered the ensuing onsides kick and ran out the clock for the win at Hallford Stadium.

Top performers: Redan quarterback Cori Pritchett scored on a six-yard rush in the third quarter and 12- and six-yard rushes in the fourth quarter to bring the Raiders back. The Raiders’ other QB, Xavier Dennis, got Redan on the board with a 12-yard touchdown pass to DeAundre Tolen. The Raiders defense got a fourth-down stop just inside Lithonia territory to set up their final touchdown.

Mill Creek 32, Stephenson 7

How the game was won: Mill Creek’s defense stifled the Jaguars, holding them to 171 yards of total offense.

Top Performers: Anthony Presto ran in two touchdowns to give the Hawks a 14-0 first quarter lead on two 1-yard plunges. Brenton King finished with field goals of 26, 38 and 42 yards. Cameron Turley tossed a 16-yard touchdown pass to Jack Plummer. Turley finished 18-of-35 for 150 yards.

Decatur 19, Chamblee 6

How the game was won: Decatur jumped out to a 13-0 first-quarter lead. Chamblee answered with a touchdown halfway through the third, but Decatur struck with a touchdown pass early in the fourth to hold on for the home win.

Top performers: Terrill Hall scored first for Decatur with a one-yard run in the first quarter, then Doneiko Slaughter had a three-yard run at the end of the period. Decatur scored on a 77-yard TD pass from Conner Whitley to Jansen King in the third to draw within seven points, but Brayton Reed answered with a 14-yard TD pass to Andre Carter in the fourth.
