How the game was won: Marist held a 7-0 halftime lead and coasted from there to shut out Belen Jesuit in the American Football Showcase at Donnybrook Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

Top performers: Marist quarterback Jack Dinges threw for two touchdowns, to Dean Johnson in the first half and John Fitzpatrick in the second. Michael Addicks had a one-yard touchdown run to put Marist up 24-0, and Timmy Bleekrode hit two field goals for the War Eagles.

Arabia Mountain 35, Redan 20

How the game was won: Arabia Mountain quarterback Samad Noble threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Desmond Rocker to give the Rams a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. Brandon Snowball expanded the lead to 14-0 with 7:07 left in the half on a 2-yard touchdown run. Redan quarterback Cori Pritchett broke loose on a 70-yard touchdown run to cut it to 14-6, but Noble answered with a 25-yard scramble touchdown of his own to put the Rams ahead 21-6 at the half. Redan used a pair of second half touchdowns to eventually pull within eight points (28-20) with10:02 left, but Snowball iced the game with a 13-yard touchdown run with 2:38 to clinch the 35-20 victory.

Top Performers: Brandon Snowball ran in two Arabia Mountain touchdowns and teammate Carl Wright rushed for a 16-yard touchdown in the third quarter to build a 28-6 lead. Redan quarterback Cori Pritchett rushed for two touchdowns.

Cedar Shoals 35, Decatur 17

How the game was won: Coach Leroy Ryals oversaw the Jaguars pick up their first back-to-back wins since 2013 behind a dynamic performance from the defense and special teams. Cedar Shoals scored 29 unanswered points.

Top Performers: Osiris Walker scored two touchdowns while Tae Wright added a rushing score. Snipe Hall returned an interception for a touchdown. Jaivanni McDavid brought home a punt for six.

M.L. King 28, Miller Grove 16

How the game was won: M.L. King trailed 16-7 in the third quarter but struck with a touchdown pass to make it 16-14. The Lions then scored with two Jaylen Williams rushing touchdowns to get the win at Godfrey Stadium.

Top performers: Williams’s two second-half scores were from six yards and 10 yards out. Marcellus Lockett had a 20-yard rushing score to get M.L. King on the scoreboard, and Brandon Dickerson hit Jamal Patton for a long touchdown pass. Antonio Kennon intercepted a Miller Grove pass in King’s end zone and returned it near midfield, setting up one of the Lions’ second-half touchdowns.

Dunwoody 43, Chamblee 6

How the game was won: Dunwoody led 29-0 at halftime and coasted from there to take the rivalry win at North DeKalb Stadium.

Top performers: Nick Pastrone threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another to lead the Wildcats. Josh Hudgins had one touchdown receiving and one rushing, and Ethan Haas had two rushing scores. Turner Nims also caught a touchdown pass. The Dunwoody defense forced three Chamblee turnovers and had a goal-line stand to end the first half.
