Final Girls Regular Season Basketball Rankings

In Class 6A, No. 1 North Forsyth picked up a win over Denmark to complete its season 25-0 for the second consecutive season. London Weaver was named Region 6-6A Player of the Year and head coach Brad Kudlas was named Region 6-6A Coach of the Year. North Paulding, Grayson, Newton, and Campbell round out the top five. Archer, Carrollton, Cherokee, Buford and Lowndes round out the top 10.

In Class 5A, No. 1 River Ridge picked up its final win of the regular season over Woodstock in an 83-52 victory. Hughes, Woodward Academy, Milton, and Morrow round out the top five. Tri-Cities, Creekview, Bradwell Institute, Coffee, and Brunswick round out the poll. No. 10 Brunswick makes its debut in the poll for the first time after defeating No. 8 Bradwell Institute.

In Class 4A, No. 1 Creekside finished its regular season with a 97-33 win over Mays. C’India Dennis finishes the regular season averaging 20.1 PPG. Marist, Warner Robins, Kell, and North Oconee round out the top five. Jones County Midtown, Jackson-Atlanta, Ware County, and Dalton round out the poll. No. 6 Jones County defeated Stockbridge 67-51 and Stockbridge slid out of the poll. No. 10 Dalton makes its debut in the poll after finishing the regular season 22-3.

In Class 3A, No. 1 Pickens picked up wins over Johnson-Gainesville and Dawson County and finished the regular season on a seven-game winning streak. No. 2 Jefferson defeated Cherokee Bluff and dropped them out of the poll. Luella, Fayette County, and Oconee County round out the top five. Baldwin, White County, Sandy Creek, Heritage-Ringgold, and Monroe round out the poll. No. 10 Monroe makes its debut in the poll, and Cherokee Bluff slides out of the poll after losses to Jefferson and Oconee County.

In Class 2A, No. 1 Josey reclaims its top spot heading into the region tournament and postseason after defeating No. 2 Thomson 55-37 this past week. No. 2 Thomson ends the regular season winning 13 of its last 14 games. Murray County, Sonoraville, and Butler round out the top five. Hardaway, Columbia, Tattnall County, Coahulla Creek, and Sumter County round out the top 10.

In Class A Div. I, No. 1 Elbert County defeated Monsignor Donovan Catholic 67-2 and Commerce 41-25 to finish the regular season 23-2. Fannin County, Central-Macon, Model, and Lamar County round out the poll. Washington County, Heard County, Banks County, Vidalia, and East Laurens round out the poll. Temple slides out of the poll and No. 10 Vidalia makes its debut.

In Class A Div. II, No. 1 Taylor County stands as the top team heading into region tournament and the playoffs. Bryan County, Wilcox County, Macon County, and Telfair County round out the top five. No. 3 Wilcox County defeated No. 5 Telfair County in a top five clash this past week. Seminole County, Screven County, Randolph-Clay, Brooks County, And Early County round out the top 10.

In Class A-3A Private, No. 1 Hebron Christian finished its regular season 24-1 after picking up an 82-14 win over Franklin County. Danielle Osho led the way finishing with a double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. St. Francis, Mount Paran, Southwest Atlanta Christian, and Holy Innocents round out the top five. Galloway, Athens Academy, Providence Christian, Lovett and Prince Avenue round out the top 10.
