Four-Star Khamari Brooks will have a busy summer after locking in his official visit schedule per Hayes Fawcaett of On3.
Brooks announced his top three back in late January including Clemson, Georgia, and Alabama. Georgia will get the first official visit, which is close to his nearby high school, North Oconee. A relationship that has continued to grow and become stronger. Alabama has been a team that has stood out from the start and continues to recruit Brooks. He picked up an offer from the Longhorns back on February 19th and Texas has done enough to stand out to Brooks for him to lock in a visit. A team that is surprising here is USC. There hasn’t been a lot of buzz with Brooks and the Trojans so far, but they did extend an offer on February 10th.
Brooks finished his junior year with a bang. He won the first-ever state championship in program history with North Oconee football and made a big impact in the win over Marist. He finished his junior season with 31 receptions for 569 yards and nine touchdowns on offense. Defensively, he was even better finishing with 131 tackles, 24 QB hurries, 17 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two defensive touchdowns.
He also won a state championship on the hardwood and was instrumental in helping the North Oconee Titans go back-to-back after winning their first championship a year ago. One of his best games in the playoffs came against McDonough where he finished with 22 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Brooks has become one of the most decorated athletes in North Oconee history, winning two basketball state championships and one football state championship. He has continued to show he is one of the rarest athletes to come through the Titans program. It certainly will be a race to the end for the services of Brooks, but he has showcased he can make a big impact at the next level.
His official visit schedule is as follows:
May 30th-June 1st- Georgia
June 6-8th- Alabama
June 13th-15th- Texas
June 20th-22nd- Southern Cal
