Te’a Cooper, Taylor Gordon and Caliya Robinson have paced Class AAAAAA No. 1 McEachern to a 9-2 start and a perfect record against in-state opponents.

The Indians topped their Georgia opponents by an average 28.8 points per game along the way. No. 2 Archer holds a 13-1 record and is perfect against in-state teams as well. No. 3 Parkview (13-1) edged defending state champion Norcross, who comes in at No. 4. The Blue Devils lost to McEachern 50-48 in November and 52-48 to Tucker on Dec. 21.

In Class AAAAA, No. 1 Southwest DeKalb fell to No. 2 Tucker 73-64, but topped Parkview 65-60 and had an impressive holiday run in the Upward Classic in Dorman, S.C.. Salem (10-2) sneaks in at No. 3 and 13-1 Effingham County edges 8-3 Stephenson for No. 4.

Unbeaten Redan takes No. 1 in Class AAAA and has yet to post a win by fewer than 13 points during its 13-0 start. Ashleigh Outler has paced No. 2 Cross Creek with 18.1 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game.

The No. 2 Wolves lost to Morgan County 54-51 in November and have pulled out quality wins over Southwest Atlanta Christian and Gainesville. St. Pius X has bounced back from back-to-back losses to Hillgrove and Tucker in November and comes in at No. 3 with a 12-3 record.

Kendrick tops Class AA with a 10-0 record and a pair of lopsided wins over Northside-Columbus. Wesleyan’s 74-57 loss to Holy Innocents’ slides the talented Wolves to No. 2.

Holy Innocents’ is 12-0 and No. 1 in Class A. The Golden Bears’ win over Wesleyan was a signature victory and the team has cruised to double-digit victories in all of its games. No. 2 St. Francis is led by its three potent scorers, Abby Grant, Kasiyahna Kushkituah and Nichel Tampa. The trio is accounting for 34.7 points per game.
