Adding onto their already incredible season that has included a state championship as well as a handful of other accolades, Holy Innocents’ stars Caleb Wilson and Hailee Swain have been awarded the 2025 MaxPreps Georgia High School Basketball Players of the Year.
Wilson and Swain each led their respective Holy Innocents’ teams to new heights this year with Swain leading the girls team to its fifth state championship in program history, defeating Hebron Christian 57-39 shutting down the Lions three-peat hopes. This was the first state title for the Golden Bears since 2020.
For the boys, Wilson was a catalyst for the Holy Innocents’ boys team taking home its first state championship in program history, defeating North Cobb Christian 84-45 to claim the championship.

It is just the 11th time in games history that a boy and a girl have been selected to play from the same school in the same season for the prestigious event.
