Southwest DeKalb athlete Jordan Christie has announced his decision to stay home at Georgia Tech. He becomes Georgia Tech’s first commitment in the 2027 class. This comes less than a day after the June 15th deadline, which allows college coaches to directly contact players in the class of 2027.

Christie held 18 offers including UGA, Tennessee, and others.
He has been playing 7-on-7 ball over the summer with Hustle Inc. His former teammate Sam Turner (a fellow wide receiver) was a long time Georgia Tech commit before ultimately flipping to Auburn. He was named to the All-Camp team at Rusty Mansell’s MVP Camps.
Christie had a strong sophomore year at Southwest DeKalb, recording 60 catches for over 900 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Southwest DeKalb had a strong showing at the Brent Key/Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic 7-on-7 at Georgia Tech last week.
JC and his squad will have their work cut out for them as they open up against a good Carver-Atlanta team.
