Kamara named Gridiron King

The top uncommitted running back in the state, Alvin Kamara of Norcross, will have quite the platform on which to showcase his talents to schools vying for his services. Kamara has been selected to join Sandy Creek’s Shaq Wiggins and Lassiter’s Ryan Jenkins at the upcoming ESPNHS Gridiron Kings. The event will feature 64 of the nation’s top players participating in 7-on-7 events, skill challenges and performance training. Kamara will surely hear from his two fellow Georgia natives as Wiggins has pledged to UGA and Jenkins is headed to Clemson. The event takes place July 27-29. … Former Troup County star Reuben Foster, the former No. 2 prospect in the state of Georgia, has flipped his commitment from Alabama to Auburn. The linebacker had made several trips to UGA of late, but decided to switch to the Tigers over the Bulldogs. Foster left the state of Georgia to move just across the border to Alabama for his senior season after Troup’s head coach was let go last February. … Alpharetta’s Naim Mustafaa, who committed to UGA in June, has announced that he will visit Tennessee and USC. The linebacker told the AJC that he still feels strongly about UGA, but he wants to explore several other options.
