It has been a busy week for Chris Miller as he continues to gain steam on the recruiting front. On Tuesday afternoon, he picked up an offer from the Duke Blue Devils to add to his already growing list of offers.
“I’m extremely excited to receive the Duke offer, they have a great program and I can’t wait to develop the relationship with the staff even more. I am looking forward to getting up there this summer,” said Miller.
Miller also has offers from Bowling Green, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Kentucky, Miami, NC State, Pittsburgh, and UNLV, per 247Sports. He’s continued to get recognition and was recently named to On3’s 2028 watchlist as one of the top players to watch in the rising sophomore class.
“Very blessed to be in the position I’m in, and excited to keep working with my team. I’m really working hard in the weight room to develop as a complete athlete. I have spent a lot of time perfecting my craft while also getting on the same page with my teammates. Very blessed, but I know that I would not be here without GOD, my family, my teammates, and head coach,” said Miller.
Miller is continuing to work this spring on improving his craft. He has his eyes set on team success and wants to get the best out of himself and his teammates.
“Spring has been great, I really love where we are as a team. There is always room to improve, but we are off to a great start,” said Miller.
This past season for the Mustangs, Miller threw for 1,347 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had one of his best games against Lithia Springs when he threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns with a 71% completion percentage.
Miller will be the presumptive starter next season for Kennesaw Mountain, who went 2-8 last season, but will have a good quarterback at the helm commanding the offense with some playmakers for him to get the ball. Miller is just getting started and will now have more eyes on him, especially after being named on a national platform. Regardless, he has one goal in mind heading into the 2025 season.
“Win.”
