Major contenders included Georgia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. He had official visits set to Nebraska and Wisconsin. According to 247Sports Composite, Scott is rated as a four-star, the No. 39 player in Georgia, the No. 49 WR, and the No. 311 player nationally. He is a consensus four-star prospect and is rated highest by Rivals.
He finished his junior year with 29 catches for 541 yards and two touchdowns. He had one of his best games against Hillgrove, finishing with 10 catches for 170 yards. He also had a great showing against North Cobb, finishing with five catches for 142 yards and a touchdown.
Scott has had a productive offseason this year, hitting a 275-pound power clean and over 400-pound squat. I got the chance to see him in February at the Sevens 7 on 7 tournament in Atlanta, where he put on a show, separating from defenders with ease thanks to his route running and footwork. In the game I saw, he finished with two touchdowns, showcasing his ball skills and deep-threat ability, all things Arizona State saw and loved from his tape.
Arizona has continued to put together an impressive recruiting class and has landed two players in the state of Georgia thus far in now Scott and Kell, and three-star defensive back Jalen Williams.
