McEachern 4-Star Nalin Scott commits to Arizona State

Scott is the second-highest recruit Arizona State has landed in the 2026 class. The wide receiver had 34 offers before narrowing down his decision. Major contenders included Georgia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. He had official visits set to Nebraska and Wisconsin. Scott is the second-highest recruit in the 2026 class for Arizona State Scott was recruited by former Georgia Bulldogs and Pittsburgh Steelers great Hines Ward who made a name for himself in the peach state similar to Scott.

Scott is known for his elite speed on the gridiron. He recorded his best-ever 100-meter dash at the final spring practice at ASU, recording a 10.98 time. It led to Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham doing a 100-yard crawl, cited by Chris Karpman of 247Sports

According to 247Sports Composite, Scott is rated as a four-star, the No. 39 player in Georgia, the No. 49 WR, and the No. 311 player nationally. He is a consensus four-star prospect and is rated highest by Rivals.

He finished his junior year with 29 catches for 541 yards and two touchdowns. He had one of his best games against Hillgrove, finishing with 10 catches for 170 yards. He also had a great showing against North Cobb, finishing with five catches for 142 yards and a touchdown.

Scott has had a productive offseason this year, hitting a 275-pound power clean and over 400-pound squat. I got the chance to see him in February at the Sevens 7 on 7 tournament in Atlanta, where he put on a show, separating from defenders with ease thanks to his route running and footwork. In the game I saw, he finished with two touchdowns, showcasing his ball skills and deep-threat ability, all things Arizona State saw and loved from his tape.

Arizona has continued to put together an impressive recruiting class and has landed two players in the state of Georgia thus far in now Scott and Kell, and three-star defensive back Jalen Williams.
