North Oconee has produced its share of elite college prospects and after winning the Class 4A state title Monday, the team will bid farewell to star wide receiver Landon Roldan.
However, the Titans’ receiving corps will remain a strength heading into the 2025 season. The upcoming season will be a reloading cycle, opposed to a rebuilding cycle, for the Titans. And leading the way is junior wide receiver Dallas Dickerson, who has all the tools to become a Power Four prospect.
Standing at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, he possesses the size and versatility to excel at multiple roles in the passing game. Beyond his frame, Dickerson’s speed sets him apart. One of the fastest players in the state, he clocked a 10.53 in the 100-meter dash, earning seventh place at the 3A state track meet. With Roldan graduating, expect Dickerson to emerge as a 1,000-yard receiver next season.
At slot receiver, Braxton Goolsby is a dynamic playmaker. Despite being undersized, Goolsby thrives as a versatile weapon capable of turning any touch into an explosive play. The Titans prioritized getting him the ball in various ways this season, using screens, jet motions, and even handoffs from the backfield. Next year, expect Goolsby to play an even larger role in the offense.
At tight end, Khamari Brooks adds another dimension to the Titans’ passing attack.
A 4-star edge rusher on defense, Brooks is equally impactful on offense as a reliable, big-bodied target who is difficult to tackle. He had a standout performance in the state championship, recording three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown. As he continues to develop physically, Brooks is primed to become an even more dynamic weapon in his senior season.
