Peachtree Ridge’s Tristen Hill commits to N.C. State

Peachtree Ridge defensive back Tristen Hill announced his commitment to North Carolina State. The three-star from Suwanee helped the Lions to a 2nd round berth in Class 6A after pulling off an upset against North Atlanta. He is Peachtree Ridge’s second defensive back college commitment in 2026 (also Tyson Sanford to Boston College).

NC State went 6-7 last season and 3-5 in the ACC. However, they did beat interstate rival North Carolina 35-30 in the last week of the regular season. Hill is now the Wolfpack’s 14th commit and is their fourth-highest ranked commit (per 247 Sports).

“I love the culture, the coaching staff, and the players. They made me feel at home,” Hill told Score Atlanta’s Wesley Powell.

According to him, he knew immediately where was home.

“I knew it was home the moment I got there on my OV (official visit)

NC State is getting a six-foot, speedy safety to add to its secondary. He runs a 4.53 40-yard dash according to his Hudl page. Hill is also one of the hardest hitters in the state and will give opposing players nightmares to go against him.

Hill decided on the Wolfpack over Minnesota, Louisville, USF, and Duke.

Peachtree Ridge will start its 2025 season and Hill’s senior season with a visit to Roswell.
