The class 6A-7A third-ranked Walton Raiders boys lacrosse team snagged their twelfth win of the season following an 8-5 outing against Allatoona.
The Raiders wasted no time taking a 3-point lead over the Buccaneers before giving Allatoona its first goal of the game with 7 minutes left in the first half. The Raiders then tacked on another goal with an assist from Maxson Santivanez to Lee Butler. After another Raider goal coming off an assist from Butler was scored, Drew Pritts found the back of the net to give Walton a commanding 7-1 lead at the half.
Allatoona managed to outscore Walton in the second half, but a goal from Tate Harran was enough to keep the Raiders ahead to grab the win.
