The first and second rounds of the GHSA Flag Football playoffs took place Thursday and each of the four divisions determined the quarterfinalists at various sites around the state.
The quarterfinals round takes to the field Monday and the semifinals are on Dec. 12.
The state championships on Dec. 16-18 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Division 4
Top-ranked and undefeated McEachern beat Shiloh 28-0 and Alpharetta 21-0 and will host No. 5 Central Gwinnett in the quarterfinals. Central defeated Alexander 20-6 and Cherokee 21-12 to earn the quarterfinals berth against McEachern. Sixth-ranked Grayson will host No. 7 Colquitt County in the quarterfinals after beating Marietta 21-0 and No. 2 South Forsyth 14-7. Colquitt beat Kell 26-0 and Mill Creek 14-0 to advance. Denmark is ranked No. 4 and will travel to No. 3 Paulding County after the Danes beat Berkmar 19-0 and Heritage-Conyers 31-6. Paulding County ousted Buford 13-8 and Thomas County Central 33-12 to remain alive. Tenth-ranked Lambert will travel to No. 8 Greater Atlanta Christian after beating No. 9 North Gwinnett 7-0 and Newton 26-5. GAC moved past Westlake 32-0 and Lowndes 7-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Division 3
Top-ranked Milton is still alive after beating Creekview 34-6 and Marist 35-6 and the Eagles face a road trip to No. 10 St. Pius X in the quarterfinals. The Golden Lions moved past Houston County 19-0 and Richmond Hill 20-0 to earn the quarterfinals berth. Third-ranked Pope beat Chattahoochee 7-6 and No. 5 Langston Hughes 26-7 to advance to play No. 7 Peach County on the road in the quarterfinals. South Effingham will travel to No. 4 Pace Academy for the quarters after beating Hiram 7-0 and Southwest DeKalb 18-0. Pace defeated McIntosh 28-0 and Sequoyah 19-0 to advance. Lithia Springs defeated Camden County 26-0 and Warner Robins 52-0 and will host No. 2 Blessed Trinity in the quarters. The Titans moved past No. 8 Woodstock 13-0 and No. 6 Morrow 27-0 to advance.
Division 2
Top-ranked Locust Grove will play No. 2-ranked Greenbrier in the quarterfinals after both teams advanced through the first two rounds. Locust Grove moved past Groves 13-0 and Trinity Christian 12-6 while Greenbrier beat Mount Zion-Jonesboro 25-0 and No. 5 Oconee County 31-0 to advance. In the bottom-left quadrant, No. 9 Jenkins beat Dutchtown 18-0 and No. 6 Jackson County 26-12 and awaits the winner of the Seckinger/Hepzibah and Lakeside-Evans/Riverdale games. Evans defeated Jonesboro 7-0 and Walnut Grove 38-6 and will travel to No. 7 New Hampstead for the quarterfinals. New Hampstead beat Woodland 14-6 and Clarke Central 20-14 to advance. Calvary Day moved past McDonough 32-0 and then upended No. 3 Loganville 31-7 to earn a road trip to No. 8 North Oconee. The Titans beat Glenn Hills 27-6 and Grovetown 20-14 to advance.
Division 1
Top-ranked Southeast Bulloch outclassed Wheeler County 27-6 and Miller Grove 34-0 to advance to the quarterfinals to play against No. 3 Harris County. Harris County moved past Central-Macon 19-6 and No. 8 Hebron Christian 12-6 to earn the quarterfinals berth. Westside-Macon is ranked No. 6 in the class and beat Shaw 14-6 and St. Vincents’ 6-0 to earn a road trip to No. 2 Dodge County. Dodge moved past Metter 26-8 and Jackson-Atlanta 21-0 to keep playing. Redan entered the playoffs ranked No. 5 and beat Telfair County 13-0 and Portal 27-6 to earn a trip to No. 9 Long County. Long moved past Athens Academy 20-0 and Pike County 6-0 in the second round. Washington County, ranked No. 10, beat Fitzgerald 19-13 and No. 7 Therrell 14-0 and will travel to No. 4 Columbus for the quarterfinals. The fourth-ranked Blue Jackets beat Woodville-Tompkins 17-7 and Mount Vernon 7-0 to advance.
