Three-time girls basketball state champion Norcross advanced to the Class 7A semifinals with a 57-44 win over host Westlake Tuesday night. Norcross took a 13-4 lead after the first quarter and entered the half with a 33-22 advantage. Taylor Mason led the Blue Devils with a game-high 19 points to go with seven rebounds. Teammate Tehya Lyons netted 15 points to go with her four steals, and Vanessa Blagmon notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Archer 55, Colquitt County 50
Colquitt County outscored host Archer 31-23 in the second half, but ultimately the Tigers held on to advance to the Final Four for the third time in four years. Asia McCoy led Archer with a team-high 15 points.
McEachern 77, Mill Creek 29
Three-time defending Class 6A state champion McEachern exploded for a 42-13 lead at the half after racing to a 25-8 lead after the opening quarter. McEachern forced 13 turnovers in the first half and outscored the Hawks 13-2 in a shortened 6-minute-long fourth quarter. Quanniecia Morrison set the pace for the Lady Indians with 24 points, six assists, three steals and four rebounds. Jasmine Clements scored 15 points with 12 rebounds and four steals. Victoria Agyin added 13 points, four assists and five steals.
Class AAAAAA
Northview 65, Stephenson 46
Northview extended its winning streak to 16 straight games as they cruised past visiting Stephenson. The Titans took a 15-8 lead after the opening quarter and used a 20-8 scoring advantage in the second frame to close out a 35-16 first half lead. Northview increased the lead to 53-30 by the end of the third quarter.
Mays 65, Winder-Barrow 51
Visiting Mays took a 15-10 lead after the first quarter before pushing the lead to 32-20 at the half. Both teams netted 16 points in the third quarter, before Mays used a 17-14 fourth quarter to advance to the Final Four at Fort Valley.

Buford 77, Warner Robins 56
Buford was down 9-2 in the first quarter but stormed back with the help of Rachel Dobb’s three-point shooting. She hit a trio of three-pointers in the first quarter and had five threes overall. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady wolves led 20-17. They maintained the lead for the rest of the game and used a 20-10 edge in the second quarter to take a 40-27 lead at the half. Tori Ocment had 22 points and Marissa Bruce had 17.

Wesleyan 63, Prince Avenue 31
Wesleyan’s Mikayla Coombs scored 23 points and dished out five assists, while grabbing nine boards and tallied five steals. Teammate Natalie Armstrong recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Wesleyan went scoreless in the shortened fourth quarter.
St. Francis 77, Pinecrest Academy 35
The Saint Francis Knights beat the Pinecrest Academy Paladins to advance to the semifinals. Saint Francis had five players in double figures. Kasiyahna Kushkituah scored 15 points and added 10 rebounds. Taja Cummings, Amirah Abdur-Rahim and Nichel Tampa each had 12 points. Tampa also had six assists. Maya Dodson scored 10 points and grabbed 13 boards.
Holy Innocents’ 78, Stratford Academy 39
The Holy Innocents’ controlled the tempo as Khalya Pointer logged a double-double with 10 points and 12 assists. Kaila Hubbard made seven three-pointers and finished with 33 points. Kennedy Suttle chipped in 19 points and worked hard on the glass to grab seven boards. The Golden Bears led 49-16 at the half.
