Week 11 Girls Lacrosse Rankings

In Division 1, No. 1 Cambridge picked up wins over Creekview and South Forsyth this week. The Lady Bears will close out the season against Hillgrove and Johns Creek. No. 2 Mount Paran defeated Walker 21-2 this past week. No. 3 Blessed Trinity saw the biggest jump this week after its top-five win over No. 4 Fellowship Christian, which saw both teams combine for 33 goals. No. 5 Wesleyan is on a current three-game winning streak and picked up wins over Hebron Christian and Mount Pisgah this week. No. 6 St. Pius X continues its impressive season and is on a current five-game winning streak, and will close the season against Chamblee. Starr’s Mill, Allatoona, Lovett, and Greater Atlanta Christian round out the poll. No. 10 Greater Atlanta Christian replaces Marist in the poll.

In Division 2, No. 1 Milton defeated top-ranked North Gwinnett 18-4 this past week. The Lady Eagles will play their final three games of the season this week. No. 2 Lassiter had a notable win against Division 3 No. 2 Walton, 13-12, this week. The Lady Trojans haven’t lost a game in over a month. No. 3 Johns Creek defeated Holy Innocents 23-3 this past week. No. 4 Chattahoochee picked up a 10-9 win over No. 5 Pope in one of the best matchups this past week. The Lady Greyhounds are on a current two-game losing streak and will face North Gwinnett on Monday. Lakeside-Evans, Decatur, McIntosh, Chamblee, and Greenbrier round out the poll.

In Division 3, No. 1 West Forsyth picked up out-of-state wins over Charlotte Catholic (NC) and Weddington (NC), scoring double-figures in both wins. Despite the loss to Lassiter, No. 2 Walton retains its position, only losing by a goal to the Lady Trojans. The Lady Raiders will face a tough stretch to end the season with matchups against Johns Creek and Milton coming up. No. 3 Cherokee defeated Kell 23-5 and Alpharetta 12-6. No. 4 Lambert moves up a spot after knocking off No. 5 North Gwinnett 13-5. Campbell, Carrollton, Brookwood, Marietta, and Harrison round out the poll. No. 10 Harrison replaces Alpharetta in the poll, and Carrollton sees its biggest jump of the seaso,n moving up three spots.
