2016 Week 2 volleyball rankings

In Class AAAAAAA, 7-0 Walton remains the only unbeaten team in the top 10. The rest of the classification was shaken by 6A schools this week with Alpharetta defeating South Forsyth, Etowah and Lambert and Lassiter and North Cobb falling to Harrison. North Gwinnett and West Forsyth debut in the poll and East Coweta and Peachtree Ridge dropped out.

In Class AAAAAA, Johns Creek takes over No. 1 and Harrson remains at No. 2. Alpharetta jumped to No. 3 after moving to 13-1 and former No. 1 Sequoyah dropped to No. 4 after a rough 1-3 start.

In Class AAAAA, Decatur jumped to No. 2 and Walnut Grove improved to No. 5 after opening the year 8-0.

Marist swept Columbus (25-18, 25-20) on Saturday and grabbed No. 1 in Class AAAA, and the previously-ranked No. 1 Blue Devils slid to No. 5. St. Pius climbed to No. 2 after a sweep over Blessed Trinity.

Class AA Pace Academy swept Westminster on Saturday and took over No. 1. In Class A, Holy Innocents fell to 0-6 with its loss to Fellowship Christian on Saturday and 8-0 Calvary Day jumped to No. 1.
