Carver-Atlanta debuts in AAAAA; St. Pius X returns in AAAA

Carver-Atlanta's stunning upset of Creekside in Class AAAAA resulted in the Panthers debuting at No. 10 in the poll. Similarly, St. Pius X's dramatic 10-9 win over rival Marist in the teams' first meeting since 2009 vaulted the Golden Lions back into the AAAA rankings at No. 10. Marist and Creekside each dropped to No. 7 after being in their respective top 5's in previous weeks.

Class AA and AAA remained unchanged while Class AAAAAA saw Camden County fall to No. 8 after losing for the second consecutive week to a ranked team from Region 1. In Class A-Private, Mount Pisgah landed at No. 9 after being upset by Fellowship Christian. Tattnall Square is now ranked in the top five of a GHSA classification for the first time in program history. In Class A-Public, Dooly County dropped one spot to No. 5 after losing to No. 3 Hawkinsville.
