Grady won the Atlanta Public School Championships Wednesday at Grant Park and was awarded with a spot in the boys Class AAA top 10 as a result.

Region 7B-AAAA rivals Dalton and Northwest Whitfield each had impressive showings at the Front Runner Area Championships in Chattanooga (third and fourth, respectively) and each is now ranked in the boys AAAA poll.

North Cobb entered the boys Class AAAAAA rankings after winning the Coach Wood Invitational at Gainesville College. The Oconee County boys moved up to No. 4 in the Class AAA poll after an impressive third-place showing at the Coach Wood.

In the girls meet at the Coach Wood, Lakeside-DeKalb was triumphant and moved up to No. 6 in Class AAAAA. Class AAAAA No. 1 Winder-Barrow had a rough time at the Coach Wood in finishing sixth, and was demoted to No. 4.
