In Class 7A, Grayson completed a wire-to-wire season as No. 1 by topping No. 2 McEachern 51-41 for its first-ever state title. Wheeler and Newton were both defeated by McEachern in the playoffs and come in at No. 3 and No. 4, while Milton used its run to the semifinals to earn No. 5. Riverwood entered the playoffs as a No. 4 seed and completed a historic run to its first-ever state title to earn No. 1 in Class 6A. State runner-up Alexander comes in at No. 2. Lee Countywhich fell to Riverwood in overtime in the first round closes out the season at No. 5.

Class 5A Kell also completed a wire-to-wire run as No. 1 and defeated No. 2 Eagles Landing Christian in the finals for the second-straight season. In Class 4A, North Oconee closed out its first-ever state title with a 65-60 win over Holy Innocents and closes out the year at No. 1. In Class 3A, No. 3 seed Carver-Columbus entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed out of Region 1, but used a run to the semifinals to earn No. 5 in the final poll. Class 2A No. 1 Westside-Macon picked up its third-straight state title and Class A Division I is highlighted by Region 6 earning the top spots with No. 1 Mt. Vernon and No. 2 Paideia.
