Following state championship weekend, here are our final rankings for the 2013 football season. While Classes AA and AAA remained the same from the pre-playoffs poll at Nos. 1 and 2, there was quite a bit of movement in each poll.

The state champs and finalists ended the season ranked 1 and 2 in each class with the exceptions of Class AAAA, due to Sandy Creeks decisive regular-season win over finalist Carrollton, and Class A-Public, due to Irwin Countys drastically better regular season than finalist Charlton County (the schools split two head-to-head meetings).

Creekside, Griffin, Buford and Aquinas each ended the year undefeated while Lovett did not lose to a Class AA team, nor did the Lions lose in regulation. Norcross ended the year on a 12-game winning streak and avenged its lone loss to an in-state opponent in the finals win over North Gwinnett. Marion County was ranked No. 1 in A-Public earlier in the season until a loss to Hawkinsville, but won out to reclaim the top spot.
