Football rankings: Archer, Eagle's Landing debut

There were no changes at the top this week, as all the No. 1 teams each won games or enjoyed bye weeks.



Some of the bigger changes in Class AAAAAA included Camden County re-entering the poll after a big win over Valdosta, which fell to No. 9. Archer debuted in the poll for the first time after an impressive 5-0 start.



South Paulding, meanwhile, entered the Class AAAAA rankings at No. 8 after its upset of Allatoona. Another team new to the rankings was Eagles Landing in Class AAAA, which dominated Riverdale 31-10.



St. Pius X moved up a spot in the Class AAA rankings after handing undefeated Towers its first loss of the season in a decisive manner. Jefferson County dropped a spot due to a close 7-0 win at winless AA Wesleyan.



In Class AA, Bowdon made its first appearance after improving to 5-0 after a quality win over Manchester.



Commerce and Dooly County make appearances in the Class A-Public view while Athens Academy re-entered the A-Private rankings.
