For the first time this season, there are no new No. 1's in the Score Atlanta high school football rankings. In Class AAAAAA, the top four stayed the same, but it was chaos beyond that point. On the strength of three solid, convincing wins, Lowndes climbed to No. 5. The Vikings' victory over Florida-power Plant was the most impressive of their wins. Dacula also debuted in the poll, placing sixth after improving to 2-0 with a win over Mill Creek. Milton and Peachtree Ridge also appeared in the Class AAAAAA rankings for the first time.

Flowery Branch and Lanier each found their ways into the Class AAAAA rankings this week. The Region 8-5A rivals will play Friday in a crucial game.

Class AAAA changes were highlighted by Cairo and Eagle's Landing debuting after strong, undefeated starts to their respective seasons.

Elbert County debuted in AAA and Model debuted in the AA rankings this week.

Pacelli made its way into the Class A-Private rankings while Commerce and Telfair County appeared for the first time in the A-Public rankings.
