The state of Georgia flexed its basketball muscles on Monday at Centennial High School as nine of the states best basketball programs and one out-of-state program convened to show off in front of a crowd full of college scouts and coaches as well as metro-area basketball fans.

Miller Grove, No. 5 in the Scoreatl.com Power 15, took it to host Centennial in a competitive 86-72 affair. Georgia Tech commitment Mfon Udofia dominated the game on offense and defense, as his quickness and deft shooting touch was unmatched by the Knights. The senior guard led both teams with 36 points.
Centennial was led by N.C. State commitment Lorenzo Brown, who poured in 19 for the Knights.
After leading by four at the half, the Wolverines extended their lead to 10 by the end of the third. Centennial would get no closer the rest of the way.
Power 15 No. 4 Norcross opened up a 23-point halftime lead over Class 3A perennial power East Hall on the strength of 16 first-half points by Blue Devil senior Zach Lamb. The Blue Devils withstood a late rally by the Vikings and held on for a resounding 102-89 victory.
Lamb finished with 32 points while Dustin Duckworth tallied 27 for the Vikings.
In earlier action, Class 2A No. 5 GAC nipped Class 4A No. 2 Tucker 61-59 as the Tigers missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer (rankings are according to the Week 8 Gasports.com coaches poll).
Dunwoody edged Veritas Christian in the first game 57-56, while Power 15 No. 12-ranked Milton defeated No. 8 Columbia 72-59.
