All five classifications saw major changes this week as several ranked teams fell on Friday night.

In Class A, Wesleyan moved up to No. 2 after Wilcox Co. fell to Clinch Co., who moved up to No. 3. Hawkinsville entered the rankings for the first time in the state's smallest GHSA classification.

Jefferson Co. and Fitzgerald both debuted in the Class AA top 10 after Friday night wins while Lovett leapt to No. 7 after demolishing Callaway.

In Class AAA, Woodward Academy and Burke County have appeared in the rankings for the first time all year. Carrollton continues their steady climb, rising to No. 8 after beating AAAAA Centennial convincingly. Baldwin, St. Pius X, Eastside, LaGrange, Woodward Academy and Burke Co. each moved up a spot as well.

Flowery Branch and Statesboro entered the Class AAAA rankings at Nos. 9 and 10 respectively. Clarke Central moved up to No. 2 while Tucker and Griffin moved up on rung on the ladder as well.

In the state's largest classification, Newnan fell to No. 9 after a loss to Peachtree Ridge while South Gwinnett debuted at No. 10. Norcross is back in the rankings at No. 8. McEachern, Lowndes, Stephenson and Valdosta all moved up one spot.
