The top boys basketball regular season concluded over the weekend. For top ranked teams in the AJCs weekly poll, the games were much like a continuation of the pre-game lay-up drills. All of the top three teams in each classification retained their ranking from week six.

The only major shake-up in all classes was the falling out of the rankings by No. 4 Monroe in Class 3A. They lost to Region 1 rival Westover (51-47). Westover claimed the final spot in the Class 3A poll.

Other than Westover, Campbell is the only other newly ranked team. They replace Cobb County rival, McEachern, at No. 10 in Class 5A.
