Class AAAAAAA No. 1 Colquitt County improved to 8-0 with a 38-9 win over Camden County in its Region 1 opener. Parkview takes over No. 2 after a 31-2 win over Parkview and Waltons 32-31 loss to Roswell. Walton dropped to No. 7 and Roswell takes over No. 6. Also, Westlake debuts at No. 10 and replaces Archer in the poll.

Lee County is the lead to beat in Class AAAAAA with just two regular season games left on its schedule. The Trojans moved past Valdosta on Friday in blowout fashion, 63-7. No. 2 Creekview, No. 3 Tucker, No. 4 Douglas County and No. 5 Sequoyah make up the top-5.

In Class AAAAA, No. 1 Rome stamped a 56-0 win over Hiram and Dutchtown used a 21-14 win over Stockbridge to follow Buford for No. 3.

Marist defeated Flowery Branch 20-0 and climbed to No. 6 in Class AAAA. Pickens debuts at No. 8 after keeping its perfect season alive with a 31-21 win over Ridgelandthe team the Dragons replaced in the poll. Also, Cairo replaces Burke County after a 36-12 win over Americus-Sumter.

In Class AAA, ranked teams played to form on Friday and, in the two meetings between ranked opponents, the higher-ranked team came out on top. Calhoun, Cedar Grove, Monroe Area, Peach County and Westminster lead the class this week.

Hapeville Charter blew out KIPP Collegiate on Friday 56-0 to protect its No. 1 spot in Class AA. Rockmart is second this week with Heard County, Callaway and Bremen rounding out the top-5. Callaway, previously second, fell to fourth this week.

Eagles Landing Christian moved past Strong Rock Christian on Friday 52-7 and since its loss to Pace Academy on Aug. 24, the Chargers have not been challenged. Athens Academy, Prince Avenue Christian, Fellowship Christian and George Walton Academy round out the top-5.
