Week 2 Football Rankings

In Class 7A, Milton fell from No. 2 to No. 6 and North Cobb jumped up from No. 8 to No. 4 following Fridays victory over the Eagles. Walton improved to No. 2 and Roswell climbed from No. 5 to No. 3. Mill Creek also moved up one spot to No. 5 following its 41-13 win over Norcross.

Class 6A saw Northside-Warner Robins and Valdosta replace Dacula and Johns Creek in the poll and Ware County took over No. 1 in Class 5A following Blessed Trinitys 28-13 loss to Marist. Coffee moved up from No. 4 to No. 3 and Blessed Trinity fell from the top slot to No. 4. Also, Eastside replaced Dutchtown at No. 10.

In Class 4A, Carver-Columbus jumped up from No. 7 to No. 4 and Troup fell from No. 6 to No. 9 following its 28-7 loss to Callaway. Oconee County tops Class 3A with Cedar Grove, Pierce County, Westminster and Peach County in the top 5. Callaway leads Class 2A ahead of Fitzgerald, Rabun County, Thomasville and Northeast-Macon.

Trinity Christian is the team to beat in Class A Private this week and leads Fellowship Christian, ELCA, Calvary Day and Prince Avenue Christian. Irwin County leads Class A Public ahead of Brooks County, Macon County, Metter and Bowdon.
