A little over 10 percent of the teams in Georgia played this weekend, but there were many notable results. Previously top-ranked Norcross fell in decisive fashion to Booker T. Washington of Miami 55-0, and the Blue Devils dropped to No. 6 as a result. Had it been a closer game, their fall may not have been as dramatic, but it was an embarrassing defeat no matter how you slice it.

North Gwinnett took over at No. 1 after an impressive 34-14 win over a talented, but reloading, Camden County club. Marietta entered the rankings at No. 10 after a demolition of a respectable Newnan team.

Class AAAAA saw Kell and Tucker move into the top five after impressive wins, while Warner Robins replaced Whitewater, which lost to Coffee.

In AA, Fitzgerald fell to No. 7 after a loss to Jefferson County, which debuted in the Class AAA poll at No. 10.

In Class A-Public, defending state finalist ECI fell out of the poll after losing to Metter. Clinch County came in at No. 10 after a respectable loss against Class AA No. 2 Brooks County.
