Week 2 Girls Soccer Rankings

North Gwinnett tops the poll in the states highest classification. The Bulldogs lead Lambert, West Forsyth, Roswell and Parkview in the top 5. North Gwinnett is 5-0 and coming off a 3-0 victory over Collins Hill on Friday. Mill Creek is sixth with Lassiter, Kennesaw Mountain, Hillgrove and Peachtree Ridge rounding out the top 10.

Johns Creek tops the AAAAAA poll ahead of Cambridge, North Atlanta, Harrison and Houston County. Dunwoody, Gainesville, Northgate, Heritage-Conyers and Glynn Academy fill the top 10. Johns Creek is 9-0 and coming off a 1-0 victory over AAAA No. 1 St. Pius X on Saturday.

Buford is the team to beat in Class AAAAA with McIntosh, Starrs Mill, Decatur and Whitewater in the hunt. No. 6 Veterans, Harris County, Union Grove, Riverwood and Carrollton fill up the top 10. In Class AAAA, St. Pius X tops the poll with North Oconee, Marist, Blessed Trinity and Columbus rounding out the top 5.

Westminster leads Class AAA with Jefferson, Greater Atlanta Christian, Jackson County and Pace Academy giving chase. Pike County, Lovett, Adairsville, Lumpkin County and Jackson make up the top 10. In Class AA, Vidalia is the team to beat and St. Vincents, Bremen, Model and Screven County round out the top of the class.

Holy Innocents is the top program in Class A-Private ahead of Brookstone, Athens Academy, First Presbyterian Day and Pinecrest Academy. In Class A-Public, Commerce takes the top spot with Georgia Military, Lake Oconee, Drew Charter and Atlanta Classical in the hunt.
