East Coweta remains the team to beat in the states highest classification with wins over Westlake (15-0) and Hampton (6-0), Mill Creek moved to second following Etowahs slide with losses to Rockmart and Sequoyah.

In Class AAAAAA, Creekview remains the team to beat despite losses to Class AAAAAAA Lowndes and Lassiter. Allatoona, which lost to Creekview on Aug. 16, is No. 2 this week. Dunwoody, Forest Park and Houston County round out the top-5.

Carrollton overtakes the top-spot in Class AAAAA with Locust Grove, Starrs Mill, Whitewater and Harris County filling out the top-5. The Lady Trojans are coming off an 11-3 victory going into their game against Rome on Tuesday.

In Class AAAA, Marist overtakes Northside-Columbus for the top-spot in Class AAAA. Northside falls to second, Chapel Hill climbs from seventh to third this week ahead of Heritage-Ringgold and LaGrange.

Lovett is the team to beat in Class AAA followed by Calhoun, Sonoraville, Jefferson and Pike County. Sonoraville fell from the top-spot to third with Calhoun staying in the No. 2 spot this week.

In Class A-Public, Gordon Lee is again the team to beat. Trion holds the No. 2 spot again with Lincoln County at third after climbing from seventh. Mt. Zion and Charlton County round out the top-5. In Class A-Private, Wesleyan, Tattnall Square, Mt. de Sales, Prince Avenue Christian and Stratford round out the top-5.
