In Class AAAAAAA, No. 1 Walton held off No. 4 Roswell in straight sets (25-22, 25-22, 25-22) to move to 5-0 on the year. Norcross jumped into the top 5 and Mill Creek jumped from No. 10 to No. 6.

There is a new No. 1 in Class AAAAAAA. Alpharetta defeated previous No. 1 Sequoyah (2-0) on Saturday to improve to 15-0 and takeover the top spot. Sequoyah is now No. 2 with a 17-1 record.

The teams did not shift in Class AAAAA and McIntosh (6-1) still holds an edge on Chamblee (17-1) with Riverwood, Union Grove and Starrs Mill rounding out the top 5.

St. Pius (18-2) leads Class AAAA with Marist (11-2) coming in at No. 2. Woodward Academy dropped out of the top 5 after a lopsided loss to St. Pius and Sandy Creek replaced the War Eagles at No. 5.

It has been a busy week in Class AAA with Pace Academy, Greater Atlanta Christian and Westminster all clashing this Tuesday. Pace Academy dropped a 2-1 loss to Westminster, but defeated Greater Atlanta Christian. Westminster and Greater Atlanta Christian will not face each other until the middle of September so Pace Academy is still safe at No. 1 with Greater Atlanta Christian at No. 3 and Westminster at No. 2.

In Class AA/A-Private, Eagles Landing Christian jumped to No. 4 and Calvary Day slid to No. 6. Athens Academy also replaced Fellowship Christian at No. 9.
