In Class AAAAAAA, No. 1 Walton dropped three out-of-state contests, but remains 5-0 against instate opponents. No. 2 Lassiter defeated No. 3 Etowah 3-2 on August 27. Also, Cherokee (12-4) replaced Milton (6-10) at No. 9.
Gainesville dropped a pair of losses to No. 8 Apalachee and previously unranked Habersham Central and was replaced by Habersham Central (14-0) at No. 9. Glynn Academy (11-1) took over the No. 10 spot in place of Northview (3-2).
Class AAAAA No. 1 McIntosh sits at 8-1 with its only loss coming to Class AAAAAA No. 1 Alpharetta. Locust Grove defeated Decatur and jumped from No. 9 to No. 10. The Class AAAA remained in tact, but in Class AAA Westminster took over No. 1 after defeating Pace Academy 2-1 on August 27. Also in Class AAA, Jackson County jumped from No. 8 to No. 6 after scoring wins over Morgan County and Jefferson.
In Class AA/A-Public, undefeated Woodville-Thompkins (14-0) jumped from No. 4 to No. 3 and Gordon Lee moved to No. 2.
