Week 6 Football Rankings

The top 10 did not experience any changes this week in Class AAAAAAA. In Class AAAAAA, Houston County dropped to No. 9 and Glynn Academy replaced Northside-Warner Robins at No. 10.

Bainbridge leads Class AAAAA again this week. Buford is No. 2 again after its 42-14 victory over Newton last week. Former No. 3 Warner Robins fell to No. 5 and Jones County moved from No. 5 to No. 3 this week. Carrollton is No. 4 again.

In Class AAAA, Troups 10-point loss to Class AA No. 4 Callaway dropped them from No. 3 to No. 7.

Peach County still leads AAA is a top-10 that shifted after Calhouns loss to North Murray. The former No. 3 Yellow Jackets fell to No. 8 after the 31-7 loss. Pierce County moved up to No. 3 with No. 4 Greater Atlanta Christian and No. 5 Hart County rounding the top 5.

Rockmart is on top of Class AA again with Dublin chasing. Hapeville Charter is No. 3 again this week with Rabun County moving from No. 6 to No. 5 after Washington Countys slid from No. 5 to No. 6.

Big changes highlight Class A-Private as Athens Academy takes over the No. 1 spot from ELCA after the Chargers loss to Holy Innocents 42-41. ELCA settles at No. 4 with Holy Innocents at No. 2 and Darlington at No. 3. Wesleyan rounds out the top 5.

Irwin Countys 14-0 win over Clinch County moves the Indians up to No. 1 in Class A-Public.
