In Class 7A, No. 1 ranked Walton leads the classification with an 11-0 overall record and 5-0 start in Region 3. No. 2 Lambert is 17-2 with a 3-0 Region 6 record and its only losses came to River Ridge and Buford in cross-classification play. No. 3 Alpharetta is 9-1 with its only loss coming to Greater Atlanta Christian (3-2). The Raiders solidified their spot at No. 3 with a 3-1 win over Roswell on Sept. 23handing the 8-1 Hornets their first loss of the season. South Forsyth jumped from No. 8 to No. 5 after defeating former No. 5 North Forsyth 2-0 on Sept. 26. North Forsyth dropped to No. 6, Harrison comes in at No. 7 and Newnan sits at No. 8. North Gwinnetts 3-2 loss to Mill Creek on Tuesday sent the Bulldogs down to No. 10 and Etowah replaced them at No. 9.

In Class 6A, Riverwood climbed from No. 7 to No. 6 and Kennesaw Mountain dropped down to the No. 7 slot as a result. Class 5A saw no movement as Nationally-ranked McIntosh (23-0) remains at No. 1. There is a new top-ranked team in Class 4A this week as Heritage-Catoosa takes over for No. 2 Marist. Additionally, Islands jumped to No. 3, Jefferson climbed a slot to No. 4 and Northwest Whitfield fell from No. 3 to No. 5.

The Class 3A experienced quite a bit of shuffling this week, but the top remains in place with No. 1 Westminster and No. 2 LaFayette. Savannah Arts climbed from No. 7 to No. 3 after a big 2-0 win over Islands and carries a 13-0 overall record and a 7-0 record in Area 3 play. North Hall fell out of the top 10 after a loss to Dawson County and Jackson debuts at No. 10. The Red Devils are 21-11 overall with a 5-0 Area 2 record.

There was no movement in the Class 2A/A-Private poll this week and the Class 2A/A-Public poll shifted with Lamar County making its debut at No. 5 after defeating Greenvillewhich dropped to No. 7 following the loss. Additionally, Vidalia jumped from No. 10 to No. 8 and Oglethorpe County dropped out of the poll.
