In Class 7A, No 5 Norcross held off Mill Creek 23-20 to improve to 7-0 on the season. Also, Roswell defeated Cherokee 35-28 and jumped to No. 6 in the rankings. Cherokee fell to No. 9 after the loss behind undefeated Newnan.

Class 6A saw no movement and Class 5A saw Clarke Central replace Veterans at No. 10. This upcoming week, No. 2 Ware County and No. 3 Warner Robins are set to square off in a massive showdown. Class 4A also remained the same this week after no ranked teams were defeated following the Week 8 slate.

Several changes were made in the top of Class 3A this week after top-ranked Cedar Grove beat No. 5 GAC and No. 2 Crisp County lost to No. 4 Peach County. Oconee climbed to No. 2, Appling moved up to No. 3 while Peach County stayed at No. 4 and Crisp County fell to No. 5. Greater Atlanta Christian slid to No. 7 this week.

Callaway is still the top program in Class 2A with Fitzgerald, Rabun County, Bleckley County and Haralson County in pursuit. In Class A-Private, Prince Avenue Christian takes over the top spot ahead of ELCA, Fellowship Christian, former No. 1 Athens Academy and Aquinas.

Metter tops Class A-Public again with Irwin County, Commerce, Brooks County and Dublin chasing in a top-10 that did not shift.
