In Class AAAAAAA, No. 1 Walton is carrying a 9-game winning streak into Fridays Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Arizona. No. 2 Lassiter dominated Kennesaw Mountain 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-20) and the Mustangs fell to No. 10 as a result of the loss to the Trojans, and recent losses to Alpharetta and South Forsyth that amounted to a three-game losing streak.

In Class AAAAAA, No. 6 Apalachee defeated No. 7 Habersham Central 2-1 (25-10, 14-25, 15-9) on Tuesday. Also, Centennial dropped from No. 9 to No. 10 following a loss to Chattahoochee.

Class AAAAA Riverwood defeated Chamblee 2-1 and replaced the Bulldogs at No. 2. Also, Veterans fell to No. 10 following a 3-1 loss to Whitewater.

The Class AAAA poll did not shift, although No. 10 Heritage-Catoosa nearly defeated No. 9 LaFayette, but fell short 2-0 (22-25, 24-26) in Tuesdays region match.

In Class AA/A-Private, ELCA defeated Holy Innocents 2-1 (27-29, 30-28, 15-13) and swapped spots with the Golden Bears, moving up from No. 8 to No. 7.
