WEEK TWO RANKINGS: Shiloh, South Gwinnett move up in poll

Some of the top basketball programs in the state have taken part in state and national tournaments. It is tough to penalize schools for stepping up in competition, but a team also needs to show it can compete against the best. Norcross, Shiloh and several other programs took part in the Big Apple vs. Big Peach Battle with mixed results. Robert Carter has made a huge impact for his new squad as Shiloh has jumped out to a 2-0 start.Norcross, meanwhile, lost its two games, but the defending Class AAAAA champs were breaking in what is almost a completely new rotation.Meanwhile, on the girls side, Norcross and Wesleyan will get love locally just as both programs are receiving love nationally. McEachern and Buford have also received spots in various national polls.
