Chase Lumpkin is next up for McEachern

McEachern has become known for producing top-level basketball talent highlighted by former Indians player Ace Bailey, who was recently selected 5th overall in the NBA Draft.
The Indians continue to produce at a high-level and the Indians seem to have found their next top-tier talent.
Four-star guard Chase Lumpkin is next up out of the Powders Spring powerhouse. He stands at 6-foot-4 and is as shifty as they come. Lumpkin has accomplished so much in just a short time with the Indians.
Last season, he was named to the 6A First-team and was named Class 6A’s best scorer by Kyle Sandy. He was also named his region’s Player of the season. Lumpkin and McEachern advanced to the 6A quarterfinals before falling to Norcross.
Lumpkin plays AAU with A.O.T and has been a stock-riser over the last few AAU Circuits. He holds offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Florida State amongst many others.
What makes Lumpkin different from many other star players is his ability to make up for what he is having an off-night. A lot of players in similar positions to Lumpkin will continue to shoot even if their shots are not falling, however, Lumpkin can impact the game in other ways. He uses his size to lock-up opposing guards. He also is an elite passer, so even when he is having trouble scoring he can still impact the game. That is not to say he usually has off games. He can score like no one else in the state. He can knock-down jump shots and penetrate the defense and drive.
He was also recently selected to participate in the tryouts for the U17 World Cup USA team although he did not make the final roster.
Lumpkin is sure to be a slam-dunk recruit to whatever school he commits to. He currently holds offers from Georgia Tech, Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia State.
After a disappointing 2024-25 season, McEachern will look to get back on top of the Georgia Basketball scene in 2025-26. McEachern has added a new piece to its roster with the addition of Zach Graves (2027) from Kell.
