Threat of weather postpones GHSA Tennis Championships

Inclement weather has caused the GHSA to postpone the tennis championships scheduled for Saturday until next week.

Weather is supposed to impact the Rome area early Saturday and continue until Monday. The earliest the championships can be rescheduled is Tuesday.

According to the GHSA -- 'The boys and girls tennis semifinals will be played on May 13-14 at the host schools with buffer dates of May15-16 in case of rain.The finals will be played on May 17th or May 19th also at the host schools.Tickets will be available on GoFan, at $10 for semifinals and $12 for finals.''
