The top two teams in last week's boys Class AAAAAA lacrosse poll met on the field Wednesday and Centennial knocked off Mill Creek to move past the Hawks in the new poll. Mill Creek rebounded by beating North Forsyth, but still fell to No. 3 in the latest poll as Milton pushed up to No. 2. No. 5 North Gwinnett edged past Class A-AAAAA No. 10 Marist to round out the top five behind No. 4 Lassiter. Chattahoochee moved up to No. 6 after a recent hot stretch while No. 7 Roswell's victory over No. 10 Etowah allowed the Hornets to move up.

In Class A-AAAAA, No. 1 Northview claimed a victory Thursday over Class AAAAAA No. 8 Johns Creek to remain in the top spot. Decatur fell to Tennessee-power McCallie to extinguish any chance to slip into the top spot this week. Allatoona handed Etowah a loss this week but drops in the poll after losing to new No. 3 Blessed Trinity. The Bucs slipped to No. 4. Lovett couldn't improve its standing after falling to Lassiter. Marist stayed in the polls after taking out Starr's Mill.

In the girls Class AAAAAA poll, Lassiter moved up to No. 6 after taking out previously ranked Alpharetta. Peachtree Ridge slides into the rankings at No. 10.

Northview jumps up to No. 3 in the A-AAAAA poll after a win over No. 10 Blessed Trinity last Tuesday. Kell fell to Lassiter and dropped to No. 4. St. Pius X moved up to No. 6 after a pair of wins last week.
