In Class AAAAAA, Archer successfully guarded its No. 1 standing by cruising past Lowndes, Newton, Collins Hill and Camden County en route to its second consecutive duals state title. Camden County jumps to No. 2 after its runner up finish and Collins Hill drops a spot to No. 3 after falling to the Tigers 56-13 in the semifinals. North Forsyth jumped six spots to No. 4 with its top 4 finish in the state tournament.

In Class AAAAA, Pope defended its state title by rallying from a 20-0 deficit to top Woodland-Cartersville 36-29 in the state championship. Woodlands impressive tournament and third straight runner-up finish in duals jumps the Wildcats up to No. 2. Creekview advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to state Woodland-Cartersville and finish No. 4 behind No. 3 Allatoona.

Gilmer edged out Cass 31-30 by criteria for the Class AAAA state duals championship and the runner-up Bobcats move up to No. 2 behind the state champs. In Class AAA, Buford moves to No. 1 after winning its first wrestling state title in school history. The Wolves topped defending state champion Banks County 44-27 in the finals.

13-time state champion Jefferson tops Class AA and cruised to a 48-15 win over Bremen in Saturday's state championship. Toombs County gave Jefferson its closest match with a 47-34 defeat in the semifinals before falling in the third place match 45-30 to Social Circle.

Athens Christian moved up three spots to No. 2 after upsetting defending state champion Gordon Lee 37-33 in the semifinals. Commerce topped the Eagles in the finals 48-18 and Gordon Lee took a third place finish in state with a 54-28 win over Turner County. Turner County moves up from No. 8 to No. 4 after its fourth place finish in Macon.
