Hogg has had an impressive spring thus far competing in various reps and continuing to dominate the competition. He also participated in the UA Camp here in Atlanta back in February. The most recent camp he participated in was the All 22 Camp powered by Elite 11. In that camp, Hogg was named OL MVP after putting together a stellar performance.

He also has been getting it done in the weight room and was seen squatting 450 pounds with relative ease and maxing out at seven reps. This past March he hit a new bench press max of 370 pounds and continues to get stronger in preparation for his senior season.

Hogg is rated on every recruiting platform as a 3-star prospect. His highest ranking is on Rivals, where he is ranked as the No. 42 IOL and the No. 78 player in Georgia. Per On3, Hogg is the seventh-rated offensive interior lineman in Georgia.

When you roll his tape, you see a guy who has great footwork and the ability to move well for his size. He can stay in front of defenders and maul them to open up holes in the running game. Hogg is also great in pass protection and is great at stonewalling defenders and not letting them get near the quarterback. He is easily one of the best centers/guards in this class in the state. His versatility is what sets him apart and his ability to play multiple positions on the offensive line makes him an intriguing prospect for colleges.

He plays for a great program in the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes which has constantly produced NFL-caliber talent and guys that produce in college. Hogg has been a starter over the past few seasons and a staple on the Hurricanes offensive line throughout his prep career.

With the summer months vastly approaching, a commitment decision could be on the horizon for Hogg around official visit season.
