South Paulding and head football coach Maurice Allen have agreed to part ways.
Allen served as the head coach of the Spartans for the last three seasons, compiling a 10-21 record with the football program during that time.
Allen’s Spartans went 4-6 this season including wins over Allatoona, Lithia Springs, Kennesaw Mountain and Alexander before failing to make the postseason for a second-straight year.
Allen and South Paulding made the postseason one time during his tenure, during the 2023 season where they were knocked out of the first round by Gainesville.
South Paulding will have its head coaching position open as they will be on the lookout for the program's seventh head coach since 2006.
